The self-check machine project is a self-diagnostic solution that would allow for the identification of predictive mechanical breakdowns, system faults or even the assessment of wear and tear on certain parts. It is directly intended for operators, so it must be ergonomic and easy to use. However, it can also be used by maintenance technicians to assist them in their diagnoses or at the end of the assembly line to check the correct assembly of the machine.
The development of this function also makes sense because many sensors that can be used to diagnose and evaluate the condition of various parts are already present on the machines. Therefore, we will first see what self-diagnostic procedures the machine would be capable of performing with the sensors it is currently equipped with. Then, we will analyze which sensors would be interesting to include in order to enhance the self-diagnostic capabilities of the machine.
