Perhaps someone in this group can assist me. Several months ago, I purchased a used Valmet 828 that was not in working condition. It was restored and made operational through countless hours of work.
However, during its first use, I noticed that it only reaches about 10 km/h in forward gear, whereas it manages at least double that speed in reverse.
Does anyone have experience with this issue and can provide guidance on how to address it?
Another problem that has arisen is that the forwarder stalls at idle when the steering wheel is turned completely, and it can only be moved again with full throttle.

If so, this is probably an electric error. I do believe there should be a difference in max speed between forward and reverse driving.
But something in the electric control system has been switched so you now have a low max speed forward and a high max speed in reverse.
This is a very hard thing to troubleshoot since it is not a "logical" error. Instead,
Was the electric system subject to rewiring or have had electric wires disconnected?
Do you have a driver's manual in your possession? If so, post complete sharp pictures of both the hydraulic and electric schematics including a list of position explanations.
