Have any experienced the following problem:

The machine starts well when it´s cold, engine runs good, full throtlle 2.200rpm, but after working a while, if i stop the machine it is hard to start it up again, some times the engine even fires and stays at 550/600rpm, and its not possible use the gas pedal, but after some minutes trying it eventually starts and running good, 2.200rpm, no fails, etc.
I dont have any ECU erros on the computer.

The machine is a 911.3 year 2007, common rail.

Should i keep the machine running 24h/day?

fre 01 feb 2019, 20:07#548828Check so no fuel lines gets overheated by turbo or the exhaust manifold. That will turn liquid diesel fuel into gas and create a gas lock. Charge pump can't then displace fuel to injector pump

fre 01 feb 2019, 21:42#548850I have similar experience with my Cat. Try to pour cold water over pump when stopped. If this solve the problem, your pump is worn. When fuel in pump is hot, it has problem to make full pressure. After running on 500-600 o/minute some time, colder fuel enters pump.

I plan no action until it is too hard to start.

fre 01 feb 2019, 22:08#548856The most common problem on this machine in the fuel line is a broken electrical feed pump.
The electrical feed pump sitting on the top of the pre filter, and will loose the conditons.
If you test and run the engine on low idling in some minute before shut down and it will start easyer,
you have air in the fuel line.
It's not necessery to have alarm at low pressure in all cases.
And not forghet the change of fuel filter.
Can also collect needels in some banjo coupling near the manuell fuel tap behind the main switch in the fuel suction line.
