finns det ingen som har någon film på en valmet/valtra med en moheda kärra, gärna som körs i skogen.

Valmet T160 with Botex 580TL roof mounted loader. These loaders and frames are built in Scotland

This actual machine also has a Keto 51 harvester attachment. I will see it working as a harvester this week and will take some film. Look out for it!

We are waiting for the movie, be sure of that.
Slurfi: As you can see, are there manufacters of log loaders in th UK, nobody cares about a chainsaw, and they use some amacing tractor to.
What suprises me most in this video, is how steady the tractor was with this long roof mounted crane, so i look forward to see it with a Keto 51 harvester head (weigt about 400kg).
What is the maximum length of the crane and how strong is it? :geek:
I don`t think there are any dealers for Botex in scandinavia, i have never heard of this brand name before, but it looks great.

I just found out today that the owner is not working the machine this week so I'll have to wait a little longer to get my film. There are no dealers for Botex in Scandinavia at the moment you're right. We have a very good market share in the uk (around 100 units per year) and don't have much more capacity for extra production required for an export market but maybe in the future. We are still a small family business that receives NO help at all from the UK government to help us expand so it is a time for being a little careful in the current economic climate.

The Botex loaders are very strong with a maximum lift of around 2500kg for this size of loader. The reach is 8m with this telescope which we buy from Cranab. The tractor is very stable. This one has no axle lock which makes it even better but it does have water loaded wheels and some extra wheel weights also. Not always necessary but when it should work with harvesting head it makes a good difference. We use a slightly unusual system for the hydraulics. A completely 'reconditioned' system from a harvester consisting of HV09 valve bank, IPS control boxes and Voac levers all taken from a dismantled Timberjack 1270 harvester in this case. This together with new front mounted Vickers 98cc hydraulic pump makes it a very nice control system but not too expensive. Spare parts are not a problem for this system either. I'll post some more photos when I am with my computer in work.

Wow. 8m crane. :surp:
I would be glad to have one of these on my log trailer or tractor(MINE, ONLY 5,1M).
Are your company making complete trailer with crane or is it "only" cranes?
Is this what we gone a see?

Is it valmet/valtra with "twin track" you are using?
This looks great, so we could wait for the video, until you had found some trees.

That is the same type of tractor but this film was only to demonstrate the stability  The harvester is not even connected

I will post the video as soon as I can get it.... maybe a couple of weeks as he is working around 500 kilometers from me! I'm going for a special visit as soon as he is working as we need some film for marketing.

We sometimes fit these to twin track Valmet tractors but not always and yes we do also build the trailers.

I assume its a load sensitive hydralic pump you are using since the rest off the system is a rip off from a harvester?Waterfilled wheels is a good ide' if you are going to use a harvester on a long crane, it adds a lot off weight to the tractor.
On my Valmet 805 I only use 160kg wheel weights on each side to my roof mounted FMV 390.
It stabil enough even with Arbro Stroke 350 harvester, but my crane is 6,6m with a singel extension

Yes it is load sensing pump.

I think an axle lock would be a good idea if the extra weight of the tractor would be a problem.

Her en annan (Valmet 305 med Moheda vagn). Bevaka at han inte brukar stödbenen, utan lägger över vagnen åt motsatt håll från var han laster.
